Company History

The Ford Companies were founded ten years ago to manage the development and acquisition of properties internally.  One of the key managers at Ford has successfully marketed two previous private equity real estate funds; Fund III will be the third offering that he has been involved with.

Principals

Joseph A. Ford, 52, is founder the founder of the Ford Companies and Principal of Ford Fund III, as well as being a member of the investment committee.  With an extensive background in real estate and business development, Mr. Ford founded Ford Realty Group in 1997, and has increased its size through acquisition, redevelopment and ground-up development.  As a former elected official (County Commissioner) of Washington County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Ford 1,500 employees, and negotiated contracts with seven different unions. He has also served on the boards of directors of a number of local charitable organizations.

William Wells, 41, is Vice President of Operations
