Ford Investment Properties’ principal and key management have owned and/or actively managed a multitude commercial retail and office properties collectively over the past 15 years. Our portfolios have focused on multi and single tenant properties that could be categorized as both stabilized and value-add or repositioning opportunities as well as ground up development projects.

Joseph A. Ford
President
Mr. Ford is the founder and president of Ford Investment Properties and its affiliates. Mr. Ford has an extensive background in real estate and business development. He founded Ford Properties 15 years ago and has increased its size through acquisition, redevelopment and ground up development. Mr. Ford oversees the company and its affiliate’s strategic initiatives as well as chairs the investment committee. Prior to forming Ford Properties, he was an entrepreneur, owning and operating a number of businesses, including a medical practice management company, a medical rehabilitation clinic, fast food restaurant and a wholesale/retail beverage distribution outlet. Mr. Ford was also a publicly elected former county commissioner of Washington County, Pennsylvania. He served two elected terms and was chairperson of the county commission for three years. As a former county commissioner, Mr. Ford oversaw approximately 1500 employees, negotiated with seven different labor unions and had direct responsibility for a multimillion-dollar budget. Mr. Ford has taken course work in business administration at Medaille College in Buffalo, N.Y. Mr. Ford has served on the board of directors of a number of local charitable organizations and is a frequent speaker at the chamber of commerce and business forums.
Matthew A. Sangiuolo, AAMS
Fund Manager
Mr. Sangiuolo is the Fund Manager for Ford Investment Properties and its family of funds. Mr. Sangiuolo is responsible for raising capital with private equity through the wholesale channel and assists in the financing of assets within the debt portion of our funds. Mr. Sangiuolo sits on the investment committee and assists the principals with asset acquisition and financial modeling. He is responsible for implementing a strategic presence for the fund in the marketplace and oversees the development of marketing materials and correspondence that Ford Investment Properties distributes. Before joining Ford Investment Properties, Mr. Sangiuolo has actively been involved in the capital markets, credit markets, real estate, marketing and client management. Mr. Sangiuolo has an MBA degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Bachelors of Science degree in finance from the University of Central Florida, and is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist from The College of Financial Planning.
Tia Ashton
Investor Relations
Ms. Ashton is responsible for creating and presenting a consistently applied investment message to the investment community on behalf of the company, and for monitoring and presenting to management the opinions of the investment community regarding the company's performance. Ms. Ashton sits on the investment committee to insure that the assets acquired adhere to the investment strategy and direction that Ford Investment Properties pursue.
